オリゴグルコサミン(キトサンオリゴ糖)とは

オリゴグルコサミンは、別名「キトサンオリゴ糖」ともいい、グルコサミンが２〜８個程度つながったオリゴ糖です。NK(ナチュラルキラー）細胞活性による免疫賦活作用や肝機能の改善など、近年注目され始めた素材です。

 オリゴ-N-アセチルグルコサミン(キチンオリゴ糖)とは    
Oligo-N-acetylglucosamine is called also chitin oligosaccharide, it is an oligosaccharide which around 1 to 6 N-acetylglucosamine are chained. Having high degree of polymerization of Oligo-N-acetylglucosamine, anti-tumor activity is recognized, and intenstinal probiotics function is also recently expected.

To manufacture Oligo Glucosamine generally, shells of crustacean, such as crabs and shrimps, are used as the starting materials. After the shells are deproteinized in a diluted sodium hydroxide solution, decalcium in a diluted hydrochloric acid to produce chitin. Oligo Glucosamine is produced from hydrolysis of the chitin by an enzyme.
